Call fowarding instructions


Call Forwarding Feature and Instructions

Roam4Less™ customers can choose their own phone number for their world phone from a large selection of countries and area codes. There is no additional charge associated with this convenient feature.

Example:
If you’re from Chicago you can get a phone number with a 773 area code.

Having a phone number from your home calling area will enable you to forward your home, office and cell phone to your Roam4Less phone anywhere in the world for the same price as local call forwarding.

Below is a list of call forwarding instructions from major telecommunication providers:

U.S./WORLD CARRIERS

AT&T Home

AT&T

To activate:
Enter either [72#] or [*72] or dial [1172] on a rotary phone, listen for dial tone, dial the Roam4Less number [area code + number] to receive your forwarded calls, 2 short tones followed by ringing confirms your request. When the called number is answered, the Call Forwarding function is on. If no one answers or the line is busy, repeat the steps. This will set up Call Forwarding without anyone answering at the called number.

To deactivate:
Enter [73#] or [*73]. Dial [1173] on a rotary phone, two tones indicate that Call Forwarding is cancelled.

AT&T Wireless

AT&T

To activate:
[**21*], dial the Roam4Less number, push the SEND, TALK, or the Receiver Icon, you'll receive a confirmation message on your wireless phone indicating the activation of your Call Forwarding was successful.

To deactivate:
[#21#], push the SEND, TALK, or the Receiver Icon, You will receive a confirmation message on your wireless phone indicating the deactivation of your Call Forwarding was successful.

Bell South

To activate:
[**72] for touch tone and dial the [Roam4Less number]. Someone must answer call in order for this feature to activate. If no one answers, repeat the process and the feature will activate on the second attempt.

To deactivate:
[**73] for touch tone 2 short tones, followed by dial tone.

Cellular One

To activate/deactivate:
Call the operator and they will forward the phone number for you.

Frontier

To activate:
[*72], when you hear the second dial signal enter the Roam4Less number

To deactivate:
Press [*73] listen for tone

Nortel

[Feature 4] and enter the Roam4Less number.

To deactivate:
Dial [Feature #4
]

Qwest Home

To activate:
[*67] dial Roam4Less number [area code + number]

To deactivate:
[*68]

Qwest Wireless

To activate:
[*72] or [72#], dial the Roam4Less number (area code + number), when the call is answered, the feature is ON. If the call is not answered, just repeat the steps and even though its not answered it will activate the feature.

Deactivation:
Listen for dial tone, press [*73] or [73#].

Ring Central

Calls will be forwarded according to your preset instructions. In the Answering Rules of your online account, you select Forward My Calls, then enter the Roam4Less numbers and set the grouping and sequence of how those numbers will ring.

  1. For example: Ring Roam4Less number xxx-xxx-xxx0. If no answer after two rings then
  2. Ring Roam4Less numbers xxx-xxx-xxx1, xxx-xxx-xxx2 and xxx-xxx-xxx3. If no answer after four rings then
  3. Ring Roam4Less number xxx-xxx-xxx4. If no answer after four rings then
  4. Send to voicemail.

Sprint Wireless

To activate:
[*72], enter the 10-digit phone number (area code + telephone number) of the phone you want your calls forwarded to, press TALK (a tone will confirm that Call Forwarding is active).

To deactivate:
[*720], press TALK (a tone will confirm the deactivation).

T-Mobile

To activate:
[*72], enter the Roam4Less phone number (area code + telephone number) of the phone you want your calls forwarded to, press TALK (a tone will confirm that Call Forwarding is active).

To deactivate:
[*720], press TALK (a tone will confirm the deactivation).

Depends on the phone you have. If you have a GSM phone, please follow these instructions: Menu » Call Log » Options » Forwarding » Select the Roam4Less number to forward call.

Verizon Home

Verizon Home

To activate:
[*72] or [72#], dial the Roam4Less number, when the call is answered, the feature is ON. If the call is not answered, just repeat the steps and even though not answered will activate feature.

To deactivate:
Listen for dial tone, press [*73] or [73#].

Verizon Wireless

Verizon Home

To activate:
[*72] or [72#], dial the Roam4Less number, when the call is answered, the feature is ON. If the call is not answered, just repeat the steps and the feature will be activated even if the call is not answered.

To deactivate:
Listen for dial tone, press [*73] or [73#].

Vonage

To activate:
From your Vonage phone, simply press [*72], enter the Roam4Less number to which all calls will be forwarded, and press the [#] key.

To deactivate:
Press [*73], or easily manage your Online Account under the Features Section.

CANADIAN CARRIERS

[*92] + [Roam4Less number] press SEND. Tone will confirm if activated.

To deactivate:
[*73] listen for 2 beeps and hang up.

Bell Wireless

[*920] send and tine will confirm it worked.
