» AIRTIME EXPIRATION DATE

Many service providers will require the customer to pre-purchase a block of airtime that has a set expiry date such as 90 days. Once the airtime expires it can no longer be used and sometimes the SIM card as well is deactivated. In essence your total airtime purchased plus airtime usage. This is particularly common when purchasing "local SIM cards".

Does my Travel Phone expire if I don't use it?

The SIM card and airtime will not expire for 6 months from last recharge. If the SIM/Phone is recharged with airtime within the six months of an airtime purchase all airtime will be carried over and the airtime will not expire indefinitely. If the SIM/Phone is not recharged with airtime for a six month period the SIM will expire and the airtime will be lost.

For customers on corporate plans SIMs will expire after six months from last usage. If no usage has been made for a six month period customer will have to buy a new replacement SIM to continue using the Roam4Less service

What's my phone number?

A:	Your local number is the phone number that is assigned to your phone. You can choose your phone number when you are configuring your phone during the checkout process.

Can I send and receive SMS text messages?

A:	Yes. In fact incoming text messages are free anywhere Roam4Less has agreements. Outgoing text messaging is based on local rates.

What do I do when I come to a new country?

A:	In most cases, nothing. Your phone will automatically be registered. However, some phones will require manual registration. To do that, check your mobile phone's instruction booklet.

When do call charges start?

Due to the unique way Roam4Less routes their calls charges for outgoing calls will start occurring as soon as the �send� button is pressed to initiate the call. You will be charged even if the call does not connect to the called party.
