FAQ'S

Why are roaming charges so high?
A: There are two basic reasons:

1. When you make a call, you are charged for by the local carrier as well as your own. For example, calls made from a Canadian mobile phone in France, will incur charges from their Canadian carrier as well as the local French carrier.

2. Both the host carrier and your own carrier don’t feel the need to offer competitive rates because you are, in essence, a captive market!
What kind of savings can I get with Roam4Less?
A: The discounts can be up to 90% off regular roaming charges.
How does Roam4Less charge so much less?
A: Roam4Less has negotiated competitive rates with carriers in over 200 countries. In addition, we have a unique call processing technology called Seamless Call-Connect™. The result is deeply discounted roaming rates.
Do these kinds of savings apply to all countries?
A: For technical reasons, there are a few countries where we cannot obtain the same kinds of savings.

A: We use the GSM platform, which is the world’s leading mobile network. Currently, Roam4Less can be used in over 200 countries and we are regularly adding more.

What do I have to buy to get these reduced charges?

1. Purchase a SIM card that you insert in your unlocked GSM mobile phone. (Note: If your mobile phone is from a North American carrier, it is probably locked.
2. Purchase a Roam4Less package with a SIM card already installed.

In either option, you get a local phone number and $10 free airtime. There are no set-up charges, no contracts. You just pay for your airtime.

I went on a business trip to Scotland last year and decided to use a Roam4Less ‘World Travel Phone’ instead of relying on my own provider. It was a perfectly clear connection.
