In a few easy steps, you will be able to place and receive phone calls when you travel for a fraction of the cost of other mobile phone carriers.

Using Your Roam4Less™ Phone

Turn on your phone and you will see a Profile selection menu (Global, USA & Prime).
Always select the "Global" Profile, even when in the USA.
Exception for Italy: When in Italy choose the "Prime" Profile and you must use the TIM network.

Placing Calls

1. Dialing format: * CountryCode AreaCode PhoneNumber # (including STAR and POUND)
      Examples:
          Calling to USA (CountryCode = 1) * 1 xxx xxx xxxx #
          Calling to France (CountryCode = 33) * 33 x xxxx xxxx #
2: Press the SEND key
3: You will see a message "Please Wait" or "Callback requested".
4: Within 10 seconds your phone will ring, signalling the call is ready to be put through
5: Press SEND again and your phone will ring the requested party.

Receiving Calls

Press the SEND/ACCEPT button.

Voice Mail

Voicemail is automatically enabled on your account. You will be sent a text message indicating the presence of each voicemail.
To control voicemail, you have these options, dial:
     *121# Retrieves messages (call charges apply, refer to rates online).
     *122# Turns ON voicemail
     *123# Turns OFF voicemail

Data

To enable data, set APN to mobiledata and leave all other fields blank or default.

Text Messaging (SMS)

Sending text messages FROM a Roam4Less™ phone
     Texting format: + CountryCode AreaCode PhoneNumber (including PLUS)
Examples:
          Texting to a USA cell phone (CountryCode = 1) + 1 xxx xxx xxxx
          Texting to French cell phone (CountryCode = 33) + 33 x xxxx xxxx
     Your Roam4Less™ SMS number will be displayed on your outgoing SMS messages.

Sending text messages TO a Roam4Less™ Phone
     Text messages can only be sent to your assigned SMS number.
     Texting format: + SMS number (including PLUS)
Example: + 44 xxx xxx xxxx

Note: Roam4Less™ phones cannot exchange text messages with certain CDMA carriers such as Sprint, Verizon and Telus. As an alternative, an online text messaging service such as ipipi.com can be used to exchange text messages with your Roam4Less™ phone.

Troubleshooting Tips

Change Networks
In every country, there are multiple networks providing service. The Roam4Less™ phone will auto-connect to the first network it sees, but it isn't always the best network for Roam4Less™ service. If you experience any difficulties placing or receiving calls, simply change networks and service will be restored.

Note: The T-Mobile network does not offer outbound service in the USA.

Sufficient Airtime Balance

Check your airtime balance by dialing *187# from your Roam4Less™ phone.

SIM Reset

A. Remove the battery & SIM card
B. Replace the battery without the SIM card
C. Turn your phone on (your phone may display an Insert SIM message)
D. Wait 15 seconds and turn your phone off
E. Remove the battery and replace the SIM and battery
F. Turn your phone back on
